PLANK
How to do a plank:
- Place forearms on the ground and aligned with the shoulders, if flat hands bother your wrist then clasp your hands together.
- Lift your body and stay as straight as a plank.
- During the whole time squeeze your buttocks and ground the toes into the ground.
Muscles involved in a plank:
- Shoulders
- Chest
- Abdominals
- Buttocks
- Thighs
Tips to keep in mind:
- Keep breathing throughout the entire exercise
- Keep belly in
- Straight back align with the hips
- Don't stick your buttocks out
