OUTER THIGH STRETCH
How to do the outer thigh stretch:
- Start by sitting on the ground with legs stretched in front of you. Bend your right leg and place it over your left leg, the right foot should be resting right next to the knee of the left leg.
- Then place your left arm on the outside of your right thigh.
- Twist your torso to the right as you apply pressure to your thigh. Switch legs once stretch is completed.
Muscles involved in an outer thigh stretch:
- Outer thigh
- Back
- Rib cage
- Hips
Tips to keep in mind:
- Keep breathing throughout the entire exercise
- Keep belly in the entire time
- Rest your other hand on the floor and use it to twist more
- When you feel tension along your outer thigh and buttocks then hold it
- Make sure to switch legs
