BURPEES
How to do a burpee:
- Lower into a squat position with your hands flat on the floor right beside you.
- Push legs behind you into a push up position and do a push up.
- Push feet forward back into the squat position and jump up with hands raised.
Muscles involved in a burpee:
- Triceps (Upper arm)
- Hamstrings
- Buttocks
- Abdominals
- Quadriceps (Thighs)
- Shoulder
- Chest
Tips to keep in mind:
- Continue breathing throughout the entire exercise
- Keep belly in at all times
- Start with feet hip width apart
- Keep back straight while doing your push up
