JUMPING JACKS
How to do jumping jacks:
- Stand with feet together and hands by your side.
- At the same time jump your feet out to the side and raise your arms above your head.
- Do the same movement but back to the starting position.
Muscles involved in a jumping jack:
- Shoulders
- Hamstrings
- Buttocks
- Quadriceps (Thighs)
- Calves
Tips to keep in mind:
- Continue breathing throughout the entire exercise
- Keep belly in at all times
- Bend knees slightly while jumping out
- Spread legs a bit wider than shoulder length
- Increase speed if you want more of a challenge
