LOWER BODY RUSSIAN TWIST
How to do a lower body Russian twist:
- Lay on the floor, on your back with arms outstretched and lift legs at a 90 degree angle, make sure that the legs are pressed together.
- Then move the legs to the right side without having them touch the floor, keeping upper body firm and steady.
- Bring the legs back to the middle and move them this time to the left side of the body.
Muscles involved in a lower body Russian twist:
- Abdominals
Tips to keep in mind:
- Keep breathing throughout the entire exercise
- Keep belly in the whole time
- Keep upper back on the floor
- Don't allow the legs to touch the floor while doing this exercise
